Recruitment poster for the US Marines published during the First World War (1917) showing a Marine riding a leopard through what looks like a pleasant tropical setting. The poster was designed by James Montgomery Flagg, American illustrator and cartoonist who designed a great deal of the most famous US propaganda posters from the war. His most famous by far was the enduring “I want YOU” recruitment poster.
