Never that! – French poster

£9.99
French anti-communist poster published in 1951 showing the Soviet flag flying from the Eiffel Tower. The poster was issued by Paix et Liberté, an organisation established in France in 1950 to campaign against the French Communist Party (PCF) and more broadly agitate against communism. It was most active through the early 1950s, when, with US-backing, it produced hundreds of thousands of posters, leaflets and films attacking communism, as well as setting up a radio show hosted by the organisation’s founder, Jean-Paul David.
This is a reproduction printed professionally on high-quality matte paper.
